Ms. Saxton provides the CLIFFORD LILLYA Library of over 850 trumpet and brass works to explore and perform from his 30 years teaching at the University of Michigan.
UNCSA has a long and rich history of the study of the trumpet. (click here for a list of former UNCSA Trumpet professors.) Alumni can be found across the globe performing, teaching, and occupying many different positions in the creative arts.  UNCSA is located in the Piedmont Triad region of northwest North Carolina, three hours from the beaches and 90 minutes  from the mountains.  The conservatory atmosphere cultivated at UNCSA allows for a program of study that is very intensive and focused on one-on-one applied study with the major teacher.  In addition to its School of Music, UNCSA is comprised of four sister schools in Filmmaking, Design and Production, Dance, and Drama, allowing for collaborative opportunities unmatched by any arts school in the nation.
